To Cayuga on Saturday for wife Darnelle’s annual Family Reunion. Lots of tall tales, good food and laughter. It is always good to visit with the bunch, sample their deviled eggs, pecan pies, ham, sausage, Tater Salad and such. But the stories are the best part….The time Grandpa Jackson had that red mule….Another night, out with the dogs, and the biggest Bobcat you’d ever imagine was in the top of an Ash tree…..Well, your family has the same types of stories also, I know. It always makes me proud of what our ancestors went through…..raising kids, putting in a garden, planting a patch of cotton or corn, coming back from the war, etc. A touch of yesteryear…..
