SheriffCare SheriffCare is an automated telephone call reassurance program which calls subscribers on a daily basis, for the purpose of checking their welfare. This is especially helpful for the elderly who live alone. Subscribers choose what time of the day or night they wish to be called. When the SheriffCare call is made, the subscriber receives a pre-recorded message. In the event the phone call is not answered, the system alerts an emergency dispatcher. An officer is then sent to the subscriber’s residence in order to attempt contact and check welfare. In the event of an emergency, the SheriffCare system is able to provide the subscriber’s emergency contact numbers, other important information such as medications he or she may be taking, and physicians name and office location. If the subscriber is not going to be home during their scheduled call time, we ask they notify this office so there is no alert. If you are interested in signing up for this free service,
